WHERE DO MY DONATIONS GO?
There are numerous costs IMM fundraises year-round to cover. Our most prominent cost we take on are providing medical supplies at the medical camps. Additionally, IMM raises funds to cover payment for translators, practicing medical professionals based in India, meals for our India team, tents, tables, chairs, registration forms, and bus transportation for villagers. If you feel led to contribute to these expenses, please consider donating HERE.
CAN I STAY IN INDIA AFTER THE MISSION IS COMPLETED ?
Yes, however these details will need to be shared and approved by the IMM Executive Team ahead of time. If you are a student and plan to stay in India after the mission, you will need to purchase your return flight on your own - you will not be reimbursed for this cost. If you are a non-student individual (i.e. medical professional or administrator) and plan to stay in India after the mission, you will need to purchase your return flight on your own and may receive a portion of your IMM trip cost reimbursed. Reimbursement will be based on our budget set aside for our return flight. To receive this reimbursement, you must submit a copy of your flight receipt to info@indiamedicalmission.com within 30 calendar days from when the mission ends. Failure to submit the receipt in this time frame will waive your rights to any reimbursement.
DO I NEED TO SPEAK THE LANGUAGE TO PARTICIPATE IN IMM ?
No! During medical camp days, each person will be paired with a nursing student based in Hyderabad who will also serve as your translator.
